Hungry Shark Evolution is an exploration/evolution game that puts players in the role of a shark patrolling the not-so-friendly seas.

If you've ever wanted to be a shark on a rampage, the is the game that you have been dreaming about. In Hungry Shark Evolution, you swim, eat, and explore - that's it. While you do this, you'll go through unique areas, fight off angry sea life, and establish yourself as the deadliest predator under the sea. You'll find some weird collectibles, upgrade your shark, and generally become a real nuisance for anything that steps into the water.

The biggest problem with Hungry Shark is the artificial padding. Most of the game's content is locked behind size barriers, which require you to upgrade to a bigger shark. This wouldn't be a problem, but leveling up and getting the requisite coins will take you a very long time. Even daily players might go weeks between upgrades, so your sense of progression can stall out if you are not patient. The entire game is very much associated with that kind of grind, and anyone who doesn't feel like putting in a significant amount of time is going to miss out on the best the game has to offer.

Hungry Shark Evolution is one of those truly lovely time wasters that will stay with you longer than you expect. There's always something to do, even if your goal is to finally reach a new level. While you'll get frustrated from time to time, the game is never boring. If you love exploration, sharks, or just silly mayhem, this is a great game. Just don't expect things to be easy.
